New to the ventilation market is Sussex-based Intervent Ventilation Systems. Offering a range of products, described as innovative and energy efficient, the portfolio is aimed at the domestic, industrial and commercial markets. All three ranges use technologies such as brushless DC motors, heat recovery and photo-voltaic.
The Industrial models include axial roof cowls, icorporating a patented shutter mechanism to give weatherproofing. Axial, centrifugal and mixed flow fans are available in a range of sizes all manufactured in fully recyclable UV stable thermoplastics ahead of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEE) Directive that will effectively outlaw the use of non-recyclable GRP in roof ventilation.
Airflow tested to ISO 5801, the ventilation systems range from 200mm to 1000mm diameter. On models from 500mm, all fittings, including lifting eyes, are manufactured in stainless steel. A three-day delivery service is available with overnight delivery available at additional cost. Domestic and commercial ranges feature constant volume flow DC motors and high efficiency air-to-air heat exchangers. Remote wireless controls and sensors are also available.
